Dear Anna,
It's been so long, I hardly know what to say. It's hard to remember a lot of our time together. I was so young. I remember staying over at your house, sleeping in that strange bed. The smell of the linen so foreign to me. I remember walking to the corner store to buy ice cream bars after dinner, and playing outside in your yard that was all cement and no grass. I guess now that I was staying with you because my mother was having another baby, but I don't think I knew that at the time. But most of all, I remember being so loved by you! I miss you, Grandma! Love, Kathy
